How to stop Automatic updates in Windows 10

With the introduction of Windows 10, you no longer have control over software updates.  They're mandatory, and they download and install automatically to ensure your device stays up to date with the latest security patches and improvements. Automatic updates are convenient for many users, but it's not feasible for everyone. Thus you are not able to disable updates in windows 10 but there is easy trick using which you can retake control and decide when to install updates.

You can prevent windows 10 from downloading updates using registry editor Regedit.
Warning: Editing the registry is risky and can cause irreversible damage to your windows if not done correctly. Thus don't forget to take full backup of computer before proceeding [Tech2Craft is not responsible for any damage]. Following are the steps to Stop automatic updates.

1. Press Windows key + R key simultaneously and open Run command.
2. Type regedit and click OK to open Registry Editor.
3. Now browse following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
4. Right-click the Windows folder then hover mouse over New, and click Key.
5. Name the new key WindowsUpdate and press Enter.
6. Now Right-click the newly created key and hover cursor over new, and click Key.
7. Name the new key AU and press Enter.
8. Inside the newly created key, right-click on the blank space on right side, select New then click on DWORD (32-bit) Value option.
9. Name the new key AUOptions and press Enter.
10. Double-click the newly created key and change its “Value Data”  to 2.
11. Click OK and close Registry Editor.

Also You can input any of the following value in “Value Data” field mentioned in Step-10.
• 2 - "Notify for download and notify for install."
3 - "Auto download notify for install."
4 - "Auto download schedule the install."
5 - "Allow local admin to choose settings."

Best choice is to change the value to 2 as it configures the "Notify for download and notify for install" option on your system. Thus by using this value prevents Windows 10 from downloading updates automatically, and you'll get a notification when new updates are available. Thus after tweaking, Registry Editor with this little trick you will get notification when updates are available, and you can manually download the updates but updates won't download and install automatically.

We do not recommend using a computer without the latest updates, because they're often aimed at keeping your Windows 10 PC running safely. However, there will be times when you may want to manually apply new updates, when you want to install them in your convenient time, or because you want to wait until you're sure the update will not cause issues then you can definitely use this trick.

What is Deep Learning - Explained in General Terms

Deep Learning, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence are the terms which are being used interchangeably these days. Suddenly every one is talking about them – irrespective of whether they understand the differences or not! Whether one have been actively following data science or not – everyone would have heard these terms. But no one has a clear understanding of what is Deep Learning. Basically it is subset of Machine Learning which in turn is subset of Artificial Intelligence.

Deep Learning is type of Machine Learning which teaches computers to perform actions by learning from examples. Deep Learning is the key technology being used in Driver-less cars that enables them to recognize a stop sign and differentiate between a person and lamppost. It is the key behind the voice controls in various devices like phone, tablets, TVs and hands-free speakers. Deep Learning is gradually prevailing and getting attention lately. Using it, impossible results have been achieved.

What is a GPU and how does it work? Explained

Ever since the increasing in trend towards gaming we are becoming more familiar with the term called Graphics card or GPU(Graphics processing unit). GPU's are critical part for game performance and we are seeing increasing performance with each passing year.

We will dive into the technicalities of GPU and explain it as simply as possible.

Why Don’t We Run Rendering With CPUs?
This is the first question which comes in every-bodies mind why we don’t use CPUs for rendering workloads in gaming in the first place. In theory we can run rendering workloads directly on a CPU. Earlier the games used to run entirely on the CPU but nowadays with advanced graphics and texture rendering the CPU that can handle this kind of performance are too costly to make. CPUs are designed to be general-purpose microprocessors and lack specialized hardware and capabilities that GPUs offer.
