NOKIA 8: Return of Nokia in Flagship Market

Nokia the company which used to be a star of mobile market lost the game when it made one bad decision: (i) Sticking to Symbian when world was moving to Android and iOS. (ii) Selling the mobile division to Microsoft. Now HMD Global, a company started by the Nokia employees want the name Nokia to be no-1 brand and now its all set to take on the flagship market with its new Nokia 8.

Nokia has already started sending out invites for august 16 when it will make Nokia 8 official. This will be the first Nokia flagship in 3 years, and the first Android-powered premium handset with the Nokia brand. It will also be the first smartphone by Finns with a dual-camera. With Zeiss and HMD Global recently signing an agreement, the phone may feature Carl Zeiss branding as well.

Nokia 8 is expected to launch in the event held in London. Phone will support 5.3-inch QHD display. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor and is rumored to be launched with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage initially, the 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants might eventually be launched later.
