New iPhone 8 rumors will blow your mind

iPhone 8 concept running iOS 11
US tech giant Apple is celebrating iPhone's 10th birthday is believed to unveil an incredible product. Rumor mill is at its fullest and latest leaks have revealed that new iPhone 8 will have edge-to-edge 5.8 inches OLED display, which will spread across the entire front of the phone. According to reports Samsung will be providing the OLED panel for its display. Samsung seems poised to deliver around 80 million OLED screens suitable for the "iPhone 8". OLED display for latest iPhone was a necessity as apple had a lot of criticism over using LCD display in previous generation of iPhone.

One of the biggest leak from the Apple's development team stated that, Apple won’t be adding the fingerprint scanner under the display. The report also said Apple will introduce a 3D face scanner in the upcoming iPhone 8. According to that a 3D scanning system will be implemented in order to replace Touch ID as a method of verifying payments, logging into applications and unlocking the device itself. Also, Apple has been working on rumored 'iPhone 8' facial recognition solution for at least 3 years. With the implementation of this technology user can unlock iPhone from various positions.

iPhone 8 will support dual vertical lens setup and reports suggested that Apple is moving away from the aluminum used in the iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6s, 7, and SE, and will instead adopt a glass body. According to Apple supplier Catcher Technology, At least one iPhone model coming in 2017 will use a glass body and with stainless steel frame that's similar in design to the Apple Watch.

Apple will implement wireless charging (inductive/magnetic charging, as with the Apple Watch) in the next-generation iPhone 8. Also According to the Wall Street Journal, the next iPhone will ditch “Lightning connector” and come with a “USB-C” port for the power cord and other peripheral devices.

Heart of iPhone 8 will have A11 chip made on 10nm process which is a great upgrade over previous gen A10 chip. The A10 chip is built on 16nm platform, thus a reduction to 10nm platform will increase the performance tremendously. Bear in mind that the A10’s speed in the iPhone 7 already outstrips the rest of the smartphone industry in single-core performance. Some reports have indicated that the iPhone 8 will pack 3 GB RAM, which is the same as the iPhone 7 Plus.

iPhone 8 will have iOS 11 running out of the box having biometric additions like facial recognition that would be used for device security. The phone will have IP68 water resistance rating and this has been confirmed by an Apple supplier.

Apple will probably unveil the three iPhone units at an event in September, we may have to wait a little longer for the iPhone 8 to hit the stores. Several analysts are now suggesting that the iPhone 8 may ship later in the year than the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus.
